My professional journey began in primary education, followed by years in family support and leadership within children’s centres. I went on to build, manage, and deliver therapeutic services within a specialist sexual abuse trauma stabilisation and recovery service in Somerset, which also included providing sexual abuse support to affecte
My professional journey began in primary education, followed by years in family support and leadership within children’s centres. I went on to build, manage, and deliver therapeutic services within a specialist sexual abuse trauma stabilisation and recovery service in Somerset, which also included providing sexual abuse support to affected individuals. Additionally, I offered trauma informed training to schools and professionals across various sectors, focusing on anxiety management and trauma recovery. I then took a position with a large education trust to serve as their trauma informed and mental health lead. Since 2017, I have been working self-employed, providing 1-1 support to children, young people, and adults while also delivering in supervision in education. I hold a current DBS. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending time with my husband, children, and beloved pets. I am happiest with a book in hand, hands in the soil, or sharing laughter around the dinner table.
